SUEZ supports Bowel Cancer West

Ian Broad, SUEZ Site Manager at Bodmin’s material recycling facility was pleased to hand over a cheque for £250, which was funds raised on site by staff to support this year’s Lanhydrock Golf Club’s Senior’s Section Captain’s nominated charity, Bowel Cancer West.

Ian said: “We’re delighted to be able to support such a great charity that works hard to improve the way they diagnose patients.”

Bryan Hancock who received the cheque on behalf of the charity was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in 2007 and since then has worked hard to support this South West based charity, raising awareness and financial support to improve diagnosis techniques, treatment and local facilities. Over the next 12 months, he hopes to raise over £5,000 via sponsorship of 4 Golf Championship events hosted by Lanhydrock Golf Club.
